Norwegian electronic artist Geir Jenssen is a master of the dark ambient. This album is timeless with its deep moody brand of techno and melancholy atmospherics. I saw him playing some of these tracks at the Arches many years ago and was totally blown away. Tracks 2 & 8 are personal favourites.
I just love this album, as an amateur DJ I have played Baby Interphase in goth parties and it has worked well. nice blog. keep up the good work.
up there with the top ambient techno albums and i.m.o. biospheres best (just edging out patashnik) this is a stone cold classic, from blissed out sonic landscapes to dancefloor thumpers, this is brilliant from start to finish. i'm very jealous of you having seen him live jah, i've no doubt it was amazing. excellent post.
